I’m currently based overseas. Do I need to go to the Philippines to execute any contracts?
This is not a requirement at all. There will just be an additional step when executing the main documents for the sale – after signing them, you will have to get them authenticated by the Philippine consul before sending them back here. You will have to go to the Philippine embassy/consulate office nearest you in order to do this.
Not being physically here for the paperwork also means the closing process will take a little longer as we will have to wait for the mails to arrive. But other than this, there’s really no problem.
