I only have a Contract to Sell (CTS). Can I still sell my property?
Having only the CTS means the property is not yet really sold to you; you just have the exclusive right to buy it, but the sale is not yet complete.
What this means for you is you cannot really sell the property itself. You can only sell your “right to buy” in that “Contract to Sell”. The process and the paperwork are just a little bit different but the sale is doable, although most potential buyers who are not very well-informed in these things usually stay away from deals like this because they think it’s risky and hard to understand. Sales like this require more convincing.
