How long does it usually take to successfully close a sale?
Every property is unique and the owner’s decisions matter a lot. Sometimes the purchase terms offered by buyers can also be creative but not necessarily acceptable to the owner.
We’ve sold properties before in less than 3 months because the owners were flexible with their price and terms. We’ve also sold some that took us longer because the owners were not willing to consider the offers we’ve been relaying to them.
The time frame for getting offers-to-buy can be reasonably estimated. But the actual closing is hugely dependent on the willingness of the owner to sell. We can tell you that there will likely be offers to buy within the first 3 months if we accept a property into our listings. Some of these offers will likely be reasonable enough at least to us, but may or may not be for the owner.
